Communing with nature.
Pleasure, tranquility and respect for water.
When ecohousing rhymes with comfort.
Bora Boréal was born of the desire to be at one with water and nature. The project was designed with the utmost respect for the environment, using the main principles of ecological housing. Each accommodation unit is solar-powered and equipped with an ecological toilet.
In other words, Bora Boréal offers stays aboard boats where you can fish or dive right from your boat. Our mission: to offer outdoor enthusiasts unusual and comfortable accommodation in an environment in harmony with nature.
Commitments.
At Bora Boréal, I'm committed to respecting the fauna, flora and natural environments.
At Bora Boréal, I'm committed to responsible energy and water consumption.
At Bora Boréal, I'm committed to the proper disposal of my waste.
Water, a precious resource.
Water is at the heart of the Bora Boréal concept. In doing so, it became essential to raise awareness of the need to protect and preserve our natural water resources. Bora Boréal is currently developing an exhibition on the theme of "Water, a precious resource" and educational content that will be shared in our Bora Boréal magazine offered to our visitors.
Awaken.
Staying at Bora Boréal means living an eco-responsible experience where water is limited. To fully enjoy the Bora Boréal experience, we invite guests to limit their water consumption with playful challenges.
Since the preservation of nature and water is also a question of consumption, each unit is equipped with a drinking water tank that is filled during each stay. Water-use comparison tools are provided to guests, encouraging them to use as little water as possible and raising awareness of their own water consumption.
