Bora Boréal Quebec or Eastern Townships: where to go?

Bora Boréal offers you two destinations for exceptional stays aboard floating cottages in nature. Whether you opt for the tranquility of the boreal landscapes in the Quebec City region or for the rural authenticity of the Eastern Townships, one thing is certain: your stay on a floating cottage will be a unique experience.

In the heart of the mountains near Quebec City

Imagine going to your cottage on the lake, surrounded by the mountains, just 40 minutes from downtown Quebec City. This is exactly what Bora Boréal Québec offers you, the cradle of the concept born 4 years ago, inspired by the beauty of the lake you are about to discover.

Located in a beautiful valley in Saint-Brigitte-de-Laval, our two Minibora cottages, designed to accommodate 2 to 4 people, offer you an intimate experience. Enjoy waking up to the sound of birds and the lapping of the water, with stunning 360-degree views of the mountains.

Fully equipped, our chalets offer you all the comfort you need to cook, relax and fully enjoy your stay in symbiosis with nature and disconnect for real. The little extra?  Your sandy beach will be your corner of paradise to have your morning coffee or stargaze after dark.

" The photos of the floating house were incredible, but somehow seeing it for ourselves in real life was even more incredible! We went on a Wednesday evening in June and felt like we had the whole area to ourselves. It was incredibly private and romantic - and so beautiful. We loved using the paddles and trails. The house was totally spacious, even though it's small. It made for one of the most peaceful experiences we've ever had! "

If you want to venture beyond your haven of peace, hiking trails start directly from the site, inviting you to immerse yourself in the heart of the Boreal forest. Walk these paths at your own pace and let yourself be transported by the serenity of this preserved environment.

For water sports enthusiasts, kayaks and paddle boards are available free of charge. Glide on the crystal clear waters of the lake and enjoy a moment of relaxation. You can also cool off by swimming in the lake or in the river that runs alongside the place.

In a farming environment in the Eastern Townships

Just 30 minutes from Sherbrooke and Mont-Mégantic National Park, discover our oasis of tranquility nestled in a picturesque agricultural setting. As in Quebec City, our eight Minibora cottages perfect for a romantic getaway (ideal for 2, sleeps 4) await you for a relaxing experience in the heart of the Eastern Townships. Looking foran unforgettable family getaway? Discover our two luxurious Boravillaavailable exclusively in the Eastern Townships, accommodating up to 6 people.

Relax on the lake with free kayaks and paddle boards. For ultimate relaxation, treat yourself to a moment of relaxation in one of our three outdoor thermal baths, accessible all year round. Let yourself be enveloped by the warm water and savor the benefits on your body while admiring the sunset. The "L'espace Temps" pavilion also welcomes you for a moment of reading, contemplation or a yoga session. Don't miss our work of art, imagined and designed by artist Patrick Bérubé, which is reminiscent of the shape of Lake Batley on which you are staying. Take advantage of this haven of peace to refocus and reconnect with yourself.

" Wow! Great stay, relaxing and rejuvenating to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. We rented the Cumulus chalet, perfect for celebrating our 10th anniversary as a couple! Very well equipped chalet, very comfortable bed and the rest of the site is super beautiful too. The staff are very friendly and the little attention on our arrival was a great start to our weekend. A weekend well filled with paddleboarding, walking, spa, games, naps and starry nights! "
